Vera "Villery" Cook

COOK Mrs. "Villery" Vera Cook went home to be with the Lord Monday, July 4, 2011. She leaves to carry on her memory five sons, Keith (Gail) Cook of Hammond, LA, Johnny (Jacqueline) Cook, Edward Cook of Kenner, LA, Kennedy (Kathy) Cook of LaPlace, LA and Michael Thomas of Milwaukee, WI; two step-sons: Vernel Cook and Curtis Cook of Mobile, AL; two daughters: Denise (Brian) Webber of LaPlace, LA, and Phyllis Thomas of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters: Joyce Decou of Los Angeles, CA and Beverly Decou of Milwaukee, WI; three brothers: Marvin (Andrea) Decou of Los Angeles, CA, Joe Decou and Earl Decou of Milwaukee, WI. Also survived by her twenty grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her father, Placide Edward Decou; mother, Maude Rattiff Decou; and brother, Roy Decou. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Homecoming Celebration at Carrollton Avenue Baptist Church New Orleans, LA on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00AM with Pastor Brian K.
