Jane, I lived on Pasadena when we were all younger and spent many hours at your house with you and your family. I am very sorry for your loss. Please contact me when you feel like it, as I would love to see you again. Barbara Becker, 835-3466, Austin.

I wish to express my sympathy to the survivors of Vera Fleming, even though none of you know me. My father, Dewey Bryan, was a first cousin to Vera's father, John David Robinson. So that makes me a cousin to Vera's descendents. I embarked on a family history project to preserve the Bryan legacy several years ago. I would love to visit with anyone from Vera's family who would be interested in sharing information and/or photos of our ancestors. My phone number in Round Rock is 512-218-1559. My e-mail address is [email protected]. May all of you find peace in the days ahead.

Momo took care of me a lot when I was a kid. She always had cookies, waffles, and buttered white bread toast. She made the best roast, potatoes, carrots, and brown beans. She will be missed.

My mother sent me the link, I now live in New York City. I have such fond memories of Vera and Charles from the several years I lived next door (I was once described as not a guest but a "habit" I was there so much after school watching Howdy Doodie). Stella, Jane, Arlene, Frank - my sincerest condolences and appreciation for your mom's warmth to me way back when. - Michael Longacre

I'm Dorothy Longacre age 68, single, living in South Austin. Lived on Pasadena St. next door to Vera and Charles when the children were small.. I had one son named Michael Longacre and a dog named Rowdy. He played "hide and seek" with the kids. Janie and Frankie use to come over and play at our house. We would hide under a quilt, on the carport and I would tell them gosht storys.I have thought of these children all thru the years. Stella was really the person who looked after the children and the house, since her mother worked. I would love to have some of the children contact me and up date me to their growing up, their children and etc. Phone: 512-358-9995 or [email protected]. Would love to hear from you all.
