Vera Robinson Fleming

Vera Robinson Fleming Vera Robinson Fleming was born on February 12, 1919 in Austin, Texas. She passed away June 6, 2010 at Park Bend Healthcare Center of Austin, at the age of 91 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Charles Fleming; parents, John and Cora Sloan Robinson; sister, Lillie Cook and brother, J.D. Robinson. Vera is survived by her daughters, Stella Jennings, Jane Dill, Arlene Jennings; son, Frank Fleming and wife, Virginia; brother-in-law, Ferrell Fleming, Robert Fleming and wife, Nell; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and 15 nieces and nephews and countless friends. Vera worked for Scarbrough and later retired from Rupp Hearing Aids of Austin. After retirement she sold Avon for over 20 years. Vera was a very outgoing person and loved people. She cherished her family and forever remained devoted to them, especially her grandchildren. She was always there to babysit and attend their functions. She will be greatly and truly missed. The family will receive guests in the Memorial Chapel of Cook- Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home from Noon to 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 11, 2010. The funeral service will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
