Victorine E. Robertson-Gilmore departed this life on Monday, July 23, 2018. Beloved mother of Elma Marie Clark, Glenda Randall, Elaine Robertson-Smith (Isaac), Jacqueline Robertson, LaSander Simmons (Phillip), Lydia Seldon, and the late Wilton Robertson, Leon Robertson, Ray Robertson, Jackie Robertson, and Eddie Robertson. Sister of Mary Simmons. Godmother of Donna Jean Williams, Marquita Randall, and the late Clara Mae Hicks and Alfred "Dracey" Simmons, also survived by 31 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 89 years a native of Waggaman, LA and a resident Avondale, LA. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second St. John M.B.C. and neighboring churches are invited to attend a Homegoing Celebration at the Second St. John M.B.C. 242 Avondale Garden Road, Avondale, LA 70094 on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 9:30a.m. Pastor Charlie R. Davis, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:15a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, LA.
