Vivian Pauline Beros

Vivian Pauline Beros entered eternal life on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the age of 96. Vivian is survived by her niece, Michele Brierre Lindsey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stefan and Pauline Tabacek Beros; her sister, Helen Beros Brierre and niece, Angele Brierre. Vivian was born and raised in New Orleans and was a graduate of the Academy of Holy Angels, class of 1946. She pursued her studies in the field of education, receiving her Master of Science in Teaching Science from Loyola University in New Orleans. Vivian dedicated 33 years to educating children in the Orleans Parish Public School System, retiring in 1979. Vivian was devoted to her family and her faith. She was an active parishioner of St. Pius X parish for many years prior to her move to St. Philip Neri parish. Her final years were spent on the Northshore close to family. Her sweet smile and sharp wit will be sadly missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 11:00AM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
