On behalf of Louisiana Women Veterans, we would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family of Ms. Vivian M. LeGros, U.S. Air Force veteran. We salute her for her service to our country and honor her with this poem:
She is a woman veteran
Whose service was true
She proudly served
The Red, White and Blue
She gave a part of her life
So others could be free
And without any hesitation
She joined unselfishly
She did her job well
With Honor and Pride
And served her great country
With the men alongside
We're proud today to know
That although she is gone
She goes on to glory
After a job "well done!"
And so, "Our Dear Sister"
We salute you today
A special Airman laid to rest
In this quiet solemn way.

I miss you so much mom; even when i caught you cheating at uno. You and I spent so much time together, even as an adult, I chose you over anyone, to spend time with. You were fun and so very interesting and I hope I am JUST LIKE YOU forever!.
