Vivian Mingo Obituary

MINGO Vivian Marylouise Mingo "Vee" joined our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in eternal life everlasting 1:15 A.M. on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center in Houma, LA. She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. She was 64. Mrs. Mingo was the beloved wife of Ernest "David" Washington, also survived by her daughters, Pamela Mingo, Carliss Mingo,Terrie Green, Stephanie Mingo and Rhonda Smith, a son Major Brown, two sisters, Sylvia Jackson and Cleo Andrew. Also survived by 26 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She wa preceded in death by her parents, Johnell, Sr. and Wilhelmina Mingo, two daughters, Cheryl and Diane Mingo, a grandson, Willie Pitt, Jr. She attended St. Raymond Catholic School and a graduate of J.S. Clark Senior High School. She was a member of Greater Asia Baptist Church in New Orleans. Visitation at Demby & Son Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, LA on Saturday, November 26, 2005 from 9:00 AM until Religious Services at 11:00 AM. Conducted by the Rev. Willie Ford. Interment in Donaldsonville Protestant Cemetery.
