Wade Ferguson Obituary

Wade Hampton
Ferguson, Sr.
Mr. Ferguson, age 84, of 629 East 18th Street, Charlotte, died February 18, 2005 at Presbyterian Hospital. He was a retired Army Sergeant.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Long & Son Mortuary Chapel, with Bishop Wade Hampton Ferguson, III officiating. Burial will follow in York Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Gertrude Morrow-Ferguson; two sons, Wade Hampton Ferguson, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, and Dwane Kacel Ferguson of Charlotte.
Long & Son Mortuary Service is serving the Ferguson family.

I am so sorry to hear this news. While I never had the pleasure to meet this man, his son, Wade Ferguson, Jr. is still a great friend of mine. I worked with him at Ward Trucking back in 1998-99. My deepest condolences for the loss. To have have such a great son, he must've truly been a remarkable man.



You, as always, will be in my thoughts and prayers, Mr. Ferguson. May God sustain you and yours in this most difficult time.
