Wallis Olivia Windsor

1955 - 2021

Wallis Olivia Windsor of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away on July 28, 2021 at the young age of 66. She was born on January 12, 1955 in Florence, Alabama, but spent most of her childhood overseas in Indonesia, Malaysia, Libya, Spain, England and Switzerland. Wallis fell in love with New Orleans and settled here after attending college. Wallis is most recognized as the manager of Kinko's Copies at their Uptown location on the corner of Carrollton and Oak, where she was beloved by customers and colleagues. Most recently, Wallis worked at the Audubon Zoo in their guest services department. Wallis is preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Doreen Windsor, and her brother, Warren Windsor. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Macuga, her sister, Wanda Francis, her brother, Wayne Windsor, and her sister-in-law, Janet Windsor. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends that considered her family. Wallis was a loving grandmother to four beautiful grandchildren, Olivia, Luke, Genevieve and Beaux. In her last year, she was able to spend eight months living in California with them, which was time she cherished deeply before returning home to New Orleans to finish her journey here on earth. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a date to be determined. We look forward to spending time with those that loved her to celebrate her life and share memories of life together.
