Wanda Fleming Obituary

Wanda Maria Fleming, a lifelong resident of New Orleans and Gretna, LA, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017, in Gretna, Louisiana at the age of 67 after a battle of breast cancer. Beloved wife of late Reginald Fleming Sr., daughter of Victoria W. (Lloyd) Menendez and the late George Williams Jr. Mother of Patrice F. (Joseph) Brown, Michelle Fleming and Reginald (Alana) Fleming Jr. Sister of Lloyd (Heidi) Menendez Jr. and the late Duane W. (Lawrence) Payton. Grandmother of Eric, Nikiya, Duane, Ashley, Mickerria, Coby and Jaden. Great-grandmother of Eric, Ma'liyah, Duane, and Cali. Step-grandmother of Joseph, Jonathan, Brandon, Nyla, and the late Jamal Brown, and Steven and Joseph. Daughter-in-law of the late Raymond Fleming Sr. and the late Mildred Scott Travler. Sister-in-law of Raymond, Nona Ray, and Gary (Julie) Fleming, and the late Ramona (Melvin) Williams. Three Godchildren. Devoted niece Ragan P. Collins and nephew Damian Payton. Step-sister of Tanya Menendez, Lawana Givens, and the late Lloydel Wilson. Survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, pastor, officers and members of Tabernacle of Christ Baptist Church, also coworkers of Oakwood Corporate Center are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Charbonnet Labat Funeral Home Chapel, 9200 I-10 Service Rd., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, December 23, 2017 beginning 11:00 am; Rev.
