I did not have the pleasure of Brother Warren as a teacher at the Sacred Heart Juniorate in Daphne but he made study hall so pleasurable with his playing records of the musicals from Broadway. And boy did he play a mean game of handball!

Dear Brother Warren taught me when I was in the eighth grade, and was one the kindest, most patient, and gentlest, souls that I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I was truly blessed to have had him as my teacher for Homeroom, Religion, and Reading.
He assisted Brother Rene' in teaching our Eighth Grade "Speed Reading" classes, and it was Brother Rene' who best summarized Brother Warren by referring to him as "portable goodness"!
I would see Brother Warren at various reunions, over the years, and he not only would remember me, but my parents as well, even though it had been a great many years since he had last seen them!
I really do believe that Brother Warren is a true saint, and was one of those rare individuals who, by his actions, showed that it is possible to live a holy life, even in these most trying of times.
I am certain that he is now in Heaven, with his Beloved Lord Jesus, fully enjoying his Eternal Life.

Br. Warren was a great influence in my life. I will always remember the handball games in Daphne, AL. This soft speaking giant of a man will remain with me forever.

Brother Warren taught me French for two years in High School. But in fact he taught me something far more valuable by the example of his life. He was a gentle soul, infinitely patient, generous of spirit with not a fiber of meanness in him. A light has gone out of this world and we will be the worse for it. Here's hoping that some of us will be a beacon as bright as was his.

Brother Warren was a great support when I was a young teacher at Brother Martin in the early 1990s, always encouraging in his comments and advice. He modeled faithfulness and patience. I am glad I knew him.
