Whitney Joseph Bergeron Jr.

Whitney Joseph Bergeron Jr. entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2022. Beloved son of the late Whitney J. Bergeron, Sr. and Helen Flithers Bergeron. Nephew of the late Beatrice Bergeron. Brother of Julie B. Rivero, Lillian B. Abadie, and the late Michael Bergeron. Uncle of Daina R. Purpura (Paul) and great-uncle of Isabella and Julien Purpura. Age 81 years, a native of New Orleans and resident of Marrero, LA. Whitney attended West Jefferson High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He spent his career restoring classic cars. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, an avid reader and an artist who enjoyed painting, photography and woodworking. He will be deeply missed by all. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LAon Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11 am. Visitation will be held from 9 am until 11 am. Interment will follow at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA at 1:30 pm.
