Dear Willard and Dee-Dee,

Uncle Willard was an original from another era. He spoke his mind and he enjoyed his life despite the infirmities imposed by aging. He was enormously proud of our family's heritage and doted on your achievements; those of your spouses; and the achievements of his grandchildren.

I want to believe he has been re-united with Aunt Margie: "Willard!" to which he will reply, "Now Margie. . ."

You remain in my prayers as always.

Love, Joseph
