William Conran Obituary

William N. Conran of Bonita Springs Florida, formerly of Methuen Massachusetts and born and raised in New Orleans Louisiana passed away on January 19. He was a First Class Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps for 17 years. He also worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Lawrence. He retired in 1983 after 35 years of Federal Service. After retirement, he worked for McCartney's Clothing store in Lawrence where he was the Men's representative in Young Men's clothing. Bill was a true naturalist who loved boating, birding, and all outdoor activities. Dad was so proud of his Southern heritage and was considered by many to be a true Southern Gentleman. He loved all the Boston sports teams, but was especially passionate about his Red Sox and Patriots. He got to see both teams win it all, and then some. "Poppy" loved his family and adored his grandchildren. Bill is survived by his daughter Shari (Danny) Lampariello of Dracut Mass. A son William (Billy) A. wife (Amber Cataudella) Conran of Bonita Springs Florida, formerly of Bradford Mass. Six grandchildren Daniel Lampariello, Hunter, Taylor, and Dalton Conran, Joey and Meaghan Markey. Bill was predeceased by his twin brother Jack (Marlene) Conran of Baton Rouge Louisiana and his brothers Mickey and Donald. Funeral Services will be private. Burial will be at the Green wood Cemetery in New Orleans Louisiana.
