Wisteria Novotny Obituary

Wisteria "Diddy" Duchmann Novotny, 95, passed away peacefully at her home in River Ridge, Louisiana on October 13, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marie Duchmann; husband, Benedict Novotny Sr.; son, Benedict Novotny, Jr.; sisters, Lithia St. Pierre, Betty Myers, and Sunday Ann Duchmann; brothers, William Duchmann, Jr., and Henry Duchmann. She is survived by her granddaughters, Heather Novotny Eberhardt (Frank), Krystal Novotny Adams (Keith), and Melissa Novotny Shepherd; daughter in-law, Angelina Angrisano Novotny; great grandchildren, Kaylynn Eberhardt, Megan Eberhardt, Benedict "B.J." Novotny, and Brayden Adams; and a host of nieces and nephews. Diddy was a member of the Holiday Rambler Recreation Group, Good Sams Club, honorary charter member of the Depression Glass Club, Ladies Auxiliary Club, and Bromeliad Club. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1908 Short St., Kenner, Louisiana, on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred. The family invites you to share your thoughts, fond memories, and condolences online at www.lakelawnmetairie.com.
