JEFFERSON WT Jefferson passed away peacefully at his home, with his loving family at his side, on Monday November 1, 2010. He was 77 years old, a native of Darbon, MS and a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Beloved husband of Jacqueline Jackson Jefferson. Father of Bryan K. Jefferson (Desiree), Lori Jefferson Henry (Edwin), Nyrie M. Jefferson and Leslie L. Jefferson (Daniel) of Houston, TX. Devoted grandfather of eight grandchildren and brother of Patsy J. Copeland. He is the son of the late Booker T. and Willie Mae Jefferson. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive him. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastor, officers and members of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, La Dept. of Health and Hospitals, Orleans Civil District Court, Serenity Hospice, Ochsner's Kenner Campus and employees of the law firm of Barker, Boudreaux, Lamey and Foley are invited to attend a visitation for 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at First African Baptist Church sixth District, 3524 LaSalle St., N.O.LA.
