Yeeman Tom

Yeeman Tom passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at the age of 82. She was a native of China and a resident of New Orleans. She was an immigrant that became a proud citizen of the United States. Yeeman and her beloved late husband Hawk Toy Tom were entrepreneurs. They owned a number of businesses and restaurants including Chinese Village Restaurant in New Orleans. Beloved wife of Hawk Toy Tom for over 55 years. Loving mother of David Tom (Melissa), Billy Tom (Nicole) and Sammy Tom (Melissa). Grandmother of Lindsay Tom, Taylor Tom, Brandon Tom, Kylie Tom, Katherine Tom, Madelyn Tom and Samuel Tom. Daughter of the late Pui Yee Lam and Yee Yok Au. Sister of the late Helen Au Chin and Francis Au. Sister of Albert Au, Lok Pui Au, and Bill Au. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. The visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service to immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
