Yvonne Ferrand Obituary

Yvonne 'Von' Webre Ferrand, age 93, passed away peacefully at her home on December 19, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Yvonne was born on September 12, 1929 in Convent, LA to the late Adolph E. Webre and Zita Gaudet Webre. She was a long time resident of Gretna, LA. Yvonne was the beloved wife of the late Warren John Ferrand, Sr., loving mother of Laura F. Brignac, Leonard J. Ferrand (Pamela), and the late Warren John Ferrand, Jr., grandmother of Brian Ferrand Brignac (Maggie), Alex J. Ferrand (Sheridan), and Geoffrey E. Ferrand, great-grandmother of John Warren Brignac. She is survived by her twin sister Yolande Smith and her brother Leroy Webre. Her sisters-in law Thelma F. Gray and Emma F. Haas and her brother-in-law, Percy J. Ferrand, Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews and neighbors who were like family. She is preceded in death by her siblings the late Clifford Webre, Nolan Webre, Emily Huguet, Velma Webre and Allen Webre. The family would like to especially thank her caregivers Anna 'Lupe' Alvarenga, Shawn Armstead, Joyce Jeter and Nelree 'Nel' Williams. Further appreciation is given to Quvonda 'Que' Henderson. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gretna, LA on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 11:30 AM. Visitation will be held at Church from 10 A.M. until Mass time. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
