Anna Auch Obituary
Mae was born March 12, 1924, in Avon, South Dakota, to the late Samuel and Lillian (Fisch) Vilhauer. She graduated from Sioux Falls Washington High School, in 1942, and married Arnold J. Auch on November 14, 1948. They moved to Council Bluffs in 1952. Mae was a homemaker and a member of Glendale Presbyterian Church, Widows Club, and the Wellness Club at Henry Doorly Zoo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold J. Auch, in 1994; and two brothers.
Mae is survived by two daughters, Shirley Brewer and husband Stan, of Guernsey, Wyo., Sherri Auch, of Council Bluffs; sister, Vivian Vilhauer, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family, Monday, 6-8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral service, Tuesday, 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with Rev. Bill Wood, Pastor of Glendale Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment Hazel Dell Cemetery with a lunch following, at Glendale Presbyterian Church.
Memorials are suggested to the church or S.O.L.A.S.
