Barbara Jean Hawley, age 71, of Carson, IA, passed away on Monday November 20, 2023, in Omaha, NE. She was born in Council Bluffs, on September 22, 1952, to John K and Felma (Porter) Hawley. Barbara made her career in social work. She enjoyed quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John; sister, Beverly Oloff (Gary); brother, J. Marlin Hawley(Judy); and brother-in-law, Gary Collins.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Donna Collins; a niece, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
Inurnment, Woodbine Cemetery in Woodbine, Iowa.

Donna and family. Sorry to hear about Barbara. It´s sad that we don´t keep up with old friends. I´ve been living a short distance from Carson for 30 years. Spent time with her in saddle club and lunchtime at school.

Donna and family I am so sorry to hear Barbara passing. We had fun as girls in Woodbine riding in saddle club and parades. Hugs to all of you. I can hear in heaven laughing and that smile if hers. Bless you my friend my till we meet again.
