To the Blanchard Family, Your Mom was a beautiful Mom to A LOT of people. I am so glad I got to be a part of your family. She was a wonderful seamstress too! I will never forget that I was having trouble with my wedding dress in 1988. I wanted my train to be able to be up when I danced. It was pretty heavy. She told me, just leave that dress here with me and I will figure it out; and SHE DID! She put a hand piece on it so I could have it on my hand, and then she put these buttons on it, so I could "pin" it up. It worked fabulous. I remember all the nieces and nephews that were at the house, and she still allowed for me to be able to stay all night with Denise too. Having the Hutchisons and the Blanchards across the street from each other, and a bike ride away from where I grew up, was the best. Many great memories were made and "Mom" will be truly missed. Rest in peace Betty and may you continue to watch over all your loved ones and greet your loved ones in Heaven.
