Herbert Sudmann

Herbert G. "Herb" Sudmann, age 96, passed away November 16, 2022. He was born October 26, 1926. to the late Fritz and Marie (Diers) Sudmann in Treynor, IA. Herb graduated from Treynor High School with the class of 1944. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Sudmann; daughter, Cindy Stewart; son-in-law, Greg Stewart; sister, Selma Andersen. Herb is survived by his children, Craig Sudmann (Dona), Gail (Mark) Leber, and Terri Guertin (Dave); brother, Freddie Sudmann (Connie); grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, November 18, 2022. Funeral service is at 10 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Treynor on Saturday, November 19, 2022. Interment is in the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Treynor Fire and Rescue.
