John B. Keeline III

John Beresheim Keeline III, 88, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on November 11, 2025, in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born May 3, 1937, in Cherokee, Iowa, to John Beresheim II and Genevieve (Michaelson-Leffart) Keeline. He grew up and received his education in Cherokee, IA, where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Thais Ann Herron, in 1959. He then moved his family to Colorado Springs in the late 60s, where they raised their three children. John worked in banking and as an electrician, and later raised Longhorn cattle, which he enjoyed immensely. John enjoyed hunting, glass etching, raising dogs, welding, and fixing anything that had a motor. He could basically fix anything and loved puttering around in his shop and barn. John was preceded in death by his parents, John II and Genevieve Keeline, and two siblings, JoAnn O'Leary and Jim Keeline. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Thais Ann Keeline; his children, John Keeline IV and wife Mona, Christine Charter and husband Tom, and Andrew Keeline and wife Stacey; grandchildren, Andrea Thomas and husband Cody, Jonathan Keeline V and wife Britney, Nicholas Keeline and wife Jennifer, Jessica Wilkerson and husband Darren, Courtney Baugh and husband Landon, and Michaela Wood and husband Connor; 12 great-grandchildren. John's daughter Christine and oldest son John IV would like to thank their younger brother Andrew and his wife Stacey for taking such good care of him during the last year, working around the house, fixing things, and making sure his needs were being met and he had all the comforts of home.

Graveside service and burial: Monday, November 24, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
