Judith Schneider, age 73, of Council Bluffs, passed away May 5, 2023, at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Judith was born January 6, 1950, to George J. and Alice W. Thomas. She attended Thomas Jefferson High School and was united in marriage to Gerald Schneider on September 24, 1984. She operated a home daycare and worked in housekeeping at the Econo Lodge. She is survived by her husband, Gerald. Visitation, Monday, 10 to 11 a.m., followed by funeral service at 11 a.m., all at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Judy will be buried with her parents at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, in Norfolk, Neb. Rest in peace Judy.

Judith was one of my clients one of my favorite clients she loved her cat Mr Kitty and her husband very much. One story I'll always remember about Judith is when I was driving her to go shopping and she was telling me about a story she heard on the news that day about a 96-year-old turtle who finally became a father for the first time and we just laughed and laughed and I think we were both in shock and amazement that a 96-year-old turtle finally became a daddy I think Judith was in shock that turtles could live that long but it was the funniest thing ever. Really going to miss her and taking her shopping and hearing about Mr Kitty who would always be no matter what waiting by the door for her to get home he's really going to miss his mom. I just hope they found a good family for him to go to cuz he was a good cat. Rest in peace Judith you're going to be very much missed down here and keep watching over your husband who I know will miss you like crazy.
