Kathleen Ranney, age 72, passed from this earth to her home in Glory with Jesus on November 11, 2021. She was born February 1, 1949, to Clyde and Gloria (Dorner) Peck in Omaha, Nebraska. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Peck. Kathleen is survived by her husband, John Ranney; daughters, Tris (Bryan) Crowdy, Beth (Bill) Thomas, Heather (Rob) Schneider; son, Nathaniel (Tasha) Ranney; grandchildren; siblings, Lorna (Dennis) Hiatt, Gregory (MaryAnne) Peck; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Memorial Service will be held at Community Bible Church, 9001 Q St, Omaha, NE 68127 on December 17, 2021, at 1 p.m. with a light meal and fellowship to follow. Memorials are suggested to Stonecraft Ministries.

I'm so sorry to hear about Kathy. I enjoyed spending time with her when Tris and Vernon were at Lewis and Clark together. She was one of those people who, even if you didn't talk to them for years, it was like you had just talked to them yesterday. My deepest sympathy to all of your family. Hold all of your wonderful memories close, they are so important.

I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. Kathy and I grew up in the same neighborhood. She lived on Pine St and I lived on Birch St. We graduated together from TJ. Every time I think of her I see her smiling and remember her contagious laugh. The world is a better place because of all the love and happiness she shared with all of us. RIP Dear Friend.
