Mary A. Donaldson, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home on October 31, 2025.
She was born April 20, 1939, to the late Lee and Arretta (Mickey) Houser in Macedonia, IA. Mary worked for the Daily Nonpareil for over 40 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, John Donaldson; daughters, Robbin Westcott and Debra Thede; siblings, Bob Houser, Homer Houser, Colleen Chase, Rose Vermule, and Lola Loftus.
Mary is survived by her children, Ed Halton (Sharon), Patricia Schmielau (Curt), John Donaldson (Tammy), Nancy Eudailey, Leonard Pruett (Kelley), Douglas Pruett (Taini), Roberta Labusky (Ron), Leiland Donaldson (Patty), and Richard Donaldson (Jackie); son-in-law, Gary Westcott; siblings, Allie Fankhauser (Arnie), Barbara Melvin (Jim), Billy Houser (Diane); grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 05, 2025. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Interment is in Lewis Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
