Megan Elizabeth Prater, age 36, passed away November 4, 2025, in Council Bluffs.
Megan was born December 2, 1988, in Lincoln, NE, to Kenneth and Melanie (McDonald) Prater. Megan worked in sales.
She is survived by her daughters, Leah McKenna Peterson, Daisy Carole Cook; and her father, Devin Cook; mother, Melanie Johnson, of Council Bluffs; father, Kenneth Prater, of Ithaca, NE, brother, Tylor Shull (Lyndsey); sister, Elana Johnson (Brandon); grandmother, Martha Kay McDonald; aunts; uncles; cousins.
Visitation for family and friends, Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral service, Monday, 10:30 a.m., at Cutler O'Neill Funeral Home.
Interment, Monday, 2:30 p.m., at St. Joseph Cemetery in Geneva, NE. Family will direct memorials.
