Timothy L. Scheel, age 74, of Council Bluffs, passed away on October 8, 2023. Tim was born October 28, 1948, in Angola, IN. He owned his own roofing company, T. Scheel Roofing, for 30+ years and prided himself on both excellent work and customer service. Tim enjoyed spending time with close family and friends, fishing, and driving around town. Many also knew Tim for his sense of humor, even through his illness he had the ability to make people around him smile and laugh. He will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Stella Scheel; father, Charles Scheel; and brothers, Charles David Scheel and W. James Scheel. Tim is survived by his son, Dustin (Amanda) Scheel; grandchildren, Megan and Evan Scheel; and sister, Jane Scheel. Visitation, Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 4 p.m., with a service following at 5 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Episcopal Cathedral or the American Cancer Society.

I´ve known Tim most of my life and always had a great time visiting with him every time we saw one another. Tim and I met at USMC and we had Chemotherapy and radiation treatments about the same time.
Tim came over to my house and we set for a long time just talking about the past and what would be our final destination. I knew it would be a matter of time for Tim and he knew it but he was a tough guy always and I hope the best for him and his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you my friend and your family. I am deeply saddened to learn to Tim's passing.
Tim and I were classmates in the 1960's and subsequently became friends.Many of our evenings were spent like scenes from "American Grafitti",
cruising the main drag and stopping at Ewalds and Todds.Tim's terrific sense of humor would keep us all in stitches and could defuse a tense situation.
Tim was a good man who has left us with many fond memories.
We'll meet again,we do know where but we don't know when,we'll
meet again.
