Barbara Cartee Obituary

Barbara C. Cartee
Pendleton, SC - Barbara Cothran Cartee, 79, of 108 Cherry Street and wife of J. Lawrence Cartee passed away at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born in Central, she was the daughter of the late William and Lola Cothran. Barbara was a graduate of Central High School and was a retired Administrative Assistant with J. Lawrence Cartee Nationwide Agency in Pendleton. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Lawrence are her son, Steve Cartee; her daughter, Kay C. Bagwell (Anthony) both of Pendleton; brother, Carzell Cothran (Bobbie) of Central; and granddaughter, Courtney Roberts (James) of Pendleton.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Cothran.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:15 PM, Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 PM, Saturday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central with Rev. C.W. Hicks officiating.
Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
The family would like to personally thank the workers at Hospice of the Upstate for their loving care they provided for Barbara during her illness.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
The family is at the home.

Lawrence and family, I am praying that God will be with you during this time of sorrow. Barbara was such a precious person I know she will be missed. She is in a better place where there is no pain. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
