Adrian J. "Lefty" Corneliess

CORNELIESS Adrian J. "Lefty," 74 of Clifton died Monday, May 4, 2009. Born in Passaic, he was a lifelong Clifton resident. A graduate of Muhlenberg College, Adrian retired in 1985 as a Vice President and Assistant Controller of the Equitable Life Assurance Co. in NYC after a 30 year career. He is a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton. Adrian is predeceased by two sons, Glenn A. and Kevin J. Corneliess. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Gloria (Sammarco), by a daughter, Dale L. Marcino and husband, Charles of Sparta and by nine grandchildren. Funeral services will begin 11:15 AM Friday at Allwood Funeral Home, 660-670 Allwood Road, Clifton with a Twelve noon Mass at St. Philip R.C. Church. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetey. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
