Andrew Jr., 80, of Wallington, lay to rest with Our Lord on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Andrew was known to most as "Andy", a kind, jovial guy. He was born in 1934, to Mary and Andrew Dolack, and enjoyed a wonderful lifelong residency in Wallington. Andrew was a co-founder and co-owner of Merit Trophies and Engraving in Hackensack, which proved to be his lifelong labor of love. He was still actively involved in the business he labored for, until the time of his passing. Proudly, Andrew dedicated 24 years of his life to the U.S. Navy Reserve and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. The Navy provided him with great worldly experiences, and many fond memories. Furthermore, Andy was the owner and operator of NJ forest lands in Sussex County. He enjoyed endless hours of recreation and hunting on those lands. Andy was the beloved brother of Daniel Dolack of Paramus, and precious uncle to James Dolack and wife Deana of Paramus, Susan Goodhart and husband John, of Randolph, and Michael Dolack and wife Priscila, of Brick Township. Additionally, he was a great uncle to four wonderful great-nephews and one beautiful great-niece, who loved him dearly.
Friends and relatives are invited to share in a "celebration of life" service to be held at the Wallington Presbyterian Church on Thursday, November 6 at 11 AM. An invitational luncheon will follow. A private inurnment is planned for family members at Arlington National Cemetery in VA.
