Anthony "Tweet" Cangelosi, Sr.
Garfield - CANGELOSI, Anthony, Sr. "Tweet", age 94, a lifelong resident of Garfield, passed peacefully at home on June 16, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Anthony worked 28 years for the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission, Newark as a paint shop foreman retiring in 2003, and previously, he owned and operated the Traveling Coffee Shop in Garfield for 10 years. He was also a sign painter for elections and painted all the police cars for the Garfield Police Department. Anthony served in the US Navy during WWII, was a member of the Garfield VFW and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. He is predeceased by his siblings, Frances Zinger, Charles Cangialosi, Josephine Flores, and Mary Seminerio. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Angelina (nee Marino), a devoted son, Anthony and wife Denna, and a brother, Salvatore Cangelosi.
