Mahwah - Barbara Ann DiRago, 88, on October 8, 2018 formerly of Mahwah, NJ. Beloved wife of the late Joseph DiRago. Loving mother of Ann Marie Spano and husband Anthony, Kathleen Bentzen and husband Jeffrey and Laurie Skibin and husband Jim. Cherished grandmother of Laura Schott, Kristin Bentzen, Anthony Spano, Kaitlyn Bentzen, Scott Skibin and P.J. Skibin. Adored great-grandmother of Nicholas Schott. Loving daughter of the late Walter and Edna Higgins. Dear sister of the late Walter Higgins. Barbara enjoyed spending time with friends and relatives especially her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Nick and Grace DiRago. The four of them spent happy vacations together in the Poconos and Catskills. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 4-8 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:15 AM at Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah. Donations may be made in memory of Barbara to metavivor.org. Please send tributes, memories and condolences to vanemburghsneider.com.
