Survived by: cousin-Frederic W. Smith, New Paltz, NY; companion-Stanley Whitfield, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; predeceased by a sister, Suzanne O'Brien. Occupation: Barbara was a Registered Nurse retiring from the Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ. Additional Information: Barbara was a parishioner of Good Shepherd R.C. Church, Andover, NJ. Barbara was an active volunteer at Hackensack University Medical Center. She was a member of the Friends and Neighbors Club of Panther Valley, NJ; member of the Allamuchy Seniors. She was a member of a local hiking group and a theatre group. She loved to travel and will be missed. Visitation: Thursday, May 3, 2007, 8:30-9:30 AM at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Services: Mass on Thursday, May 3, 2007, 10 AM, Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 48 Tranquility Road, Rt. 517, Andover, NJ 07821. In lieu of Flowers, American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691. Interment: Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
