Bernadette Salerno of Landing age 62

LINCOLN PARK — Services were held for Bernadette Salerno, 62, of Landing, who died on Sunday, November 4, 2012. She was a former resident of this community.

Born in Orange, Mrs. Salerno lived in Parsippany and Lincoln Park before moving to the Landing neighborhood of Roxbury Township 26 years ago. She was a production planner for Unette Corp. and Dimensional Merchandising Inc., both of Wharton. Also, she was the president of the Nixon Elementary School PTA and a volunteer at Roxbury High School.

Services were Saturday at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, Chester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the family.

Mrs. Salerno is survived by her husband, Joseph; her daughter, Danielle; her sister, Marge Boehm; and her brother, T.J. Abato.

She was predeceased by her parents, James and Concetta Abato.
