YUHAS Brian George, 72, of Plainville, CT, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 29, 2011 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain. Brian was born on May 7, 1938 in Passaic, NJ a son of the late Joseph and Leona (Siegrist) Yuhas. Mr. Yuhas received his BA and MBA from Seton Hall University. Mr. Yuhas was employed at The Pantasote Company in Passaic, NJ and came to Greenwich, CT serving as the company's corporate controller and then treasurer. He spent 22 years with the company. He moved to CT in 1989 where he was employed at Facility Equipment Company in Meriden as Vice President of Finance. Brian was also a member of the American Accountant Association. He was an avid Pinochle player, enjoyed crossword puzzles and had a large collection of Mensa books. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Anne (Ainsworth) Yuhas of Plainville and his three daughters and their spouses, Jennifer and Adam Clark of Bristol, Meredith Yuhas and James Gochee of Vernon, CT and Alexis and Mark Waiksnoris of Bristol; his grandson Joshua Clark who was the joy and light of his life; his sister Kathleen Hendry of Toms River, NJ and his nieces and nephews, Christine Kuzdzal, Robert Hendry, Mark Hendry and Lauren Demore. He will be remembered by his dear friend Albert Frasciarelli of Farmington. The family wishes to acknowledge the Nurses of N5 Stroke Unit at New Britain hospital for their compassionate, loving, and respectful care. A funeral service will be held on Monday April 4, 2011 at 10AM at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Avenue, Forestville, CT. Burial will follow at Forestville Cemetery, Forestville, CT.
