Catherine Della Casa Obituary
Catherine (nee Ricardo), 101, of Paramus, formerly of Hackensack and River Edge, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013. She was a charter member of the Senior Citizens of River Edge and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church in Paramus.
Dear wife of the late Frank J. Della Casa (1978). Beloved mother of Kathleen Savastano of Paramus. Loving grandmother of Anthony Savastano and his wife Linda of Paramus. Loving great-grandmother of Victoria and Hayden Savastano. Beloved sister of Ann Vasquez, John Ricardo and the late Louise Marrazzo, Anthony Ricardo, Mary D'Errico, Albina DiDonato and Eleanor Leggour.
Special thanks to the staff of Dellridge Health & Rehabilitation Center for their care and dedication.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113-S Farview Ave., Paramus. Funeral Service Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 9:30 AM from the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church, Paramus. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack.
In lieu of flowers, family request to have a Mass said in her name from a church of their choice.
