Christian CUNNINGHAM

CUNNINGHAM Christian, age 63, of Hawthorne, passed away on April 4, 2010. Christian was born in Paterson, NJ, to the late Christian and Eleanor Cunningham. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War. He later worked as a manager for Ruan Trucking Company in Boonton, NJ. In his spare time, he was a passionate athletic coach for his children and grandchildren's sports teams. He was also an active participant in Fair Lawn All Sports. He was the devoted husband to Georgann (nee Zvalaren) for over 39 years. He is the dearly loved father of Lisa Cunningham, Christian Cunningham, III and his wife Roseann, Daryl Cunningham, and Lyndsey Cunningham. He is the dear grandfather to Jake DeLucca and Dylan Cunningham. He is also survived by his sisters Joyce Breen and Patricia Smith and his brother Randy Cunningham as well as his brother and sister-in-law Bob and Sue Skorupka and many nieces and nephews. Visiting will be Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held Thursday, 9 AM, at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Hackensack University Medical Center, 30 Prospect Ave., Hackensack, NJ 07601.
