Christina Habeeb

Christina (nee Lapadula), 80, of Dumont, NJ passed away December 8, 2012 at Care One, Westwood.
She was married to and is survived by her high school sweetheart and devoted husband of 58 years, John Habeeb.
Christina is survived by her loving daughter, Stacy Wilde and her husband David, as well as three devoted sons, John Jr., Randal and his fiancé Marci, and Lee and his wife Valerie Habeeb. A great joy in Christina's life was her cherished granddaughter; Reagan, "the light of her life." She is also survived by her loving sister Marie Prince, and a loving circle of nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Margarette Lapadula, and her brother John Lapadula, who was killed in WWII upon which he was awarded a purple heart.
Chris, as her friends called her, was born in North Bergen, NJ and raised in West New York, NJ, and raised her family in Dumont. She was a graduate of Memorial High School in 1950, and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she also worked in the administration department for many years. She opened her own consignment shop, "Anything Goes," in Dumont where her business flourished for 15 years before her retirement in 2005. She loved working in her garden and collecting and shopping for antiques and collectables. There will be no service per Christina's last wishes.
