DIETZ
Christopher Bartholomew, 58, of Ridgewood, NJ, formerly of Pelham Manor, NY, passed away Friday, July 24th. Christopher is survived by his children, Christopher, Jr., Caeleigh and James and their mother, Maura DeCoursey Dietz. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Gloria Dietz, and two brothers, Peter and John Dietz. Christopher is the loving brother of Donald Dietz III, Elizabeth Dietz, Carla Dietz, Rosemary Bartsch and Dorothy Dietz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Chris grew up in Pelham Manor, NY. The youngest of eight, he graduated from Pelham Memorial High School in 1975 and Hobart College in 1979. Chris spent his professional career in the financial services industry, he was Senior VP at Morgan Stanley. Chris was an avid fisherman and golfer. His greatest passion, however, was his three children. Chris was a good man, loved by family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all.Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, August 4th, 4-8 PM at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ. Funeral Mass Wednesday, August 5th, 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, 1 Passaic Street, Ridgewood, NJ. Cremation private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christopher's memory to Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore, P.O. Box 550, Wellfleet, MA 02667 (www.fccns.org).
