David Krentel

KRENTEL
David Paul, age 72, went home to be with His Lord, unexpectedly Friday morning, January 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Fredericksburg, VA and resided in Ridgewood for many years. David was employed by the Christian Health Care Center as the Executive Director of the CHCC Foundation. He was also English minister at the East Bergen Christian Church and a faculty member of the Hawthorne Gospel Monday Evening Bible School. He was a member of Rotary International. David was a devoted and loving father and grandfather. He is survived by a daughter, Alison Martha Krentel, her husband, Paul Wheatley-Price and their children, Thomas William and Charlotte Katherine, and a son, Jonathan David Krentel, his wife, Rebecca and their children, Lara Mulder, Gretchen Louise and Anders Jonathan. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Robert Krentel, Diane Krentel Hodge, Stephen Neal Krentel and Melissa Jane Krentel. He was predeceased by a sister, Martha Helen Krentel. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. The Krentel family invites you to a Funeral Service on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10 AM at Hawthorne Gospel Church, 2000 Route 208 North, Hawthorne, NJ 07506. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held in the church. A private interment will take place for the family Saturday afternoon.
