David Moskowitz Obituary

MOSKOWITZ David M., D.D.S., age 83, of Fair Lawn, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 14, 2010, beloved husband of the late Elinor (nee Davis) Moskowitz, devoted father of Ann M. Frisch and her husband Brian of Fair Lawn, NJ, and Michael W. Moskowitz and his wife Jody Wasson of Harrington Park, NJ, cherished grandfather of Jamie Frisch Vento and her husband Brett, Stacy Frisch, Joseph Moskowitz and Mary Moskowitz, dear brother of the late Estelle Mitchell. Dr. Moskowitz was a graduate of City College of New York where he earned a B.S. Degree and was also a graduate of New York University School of Dentistry where he earned his Dental Degree. Dr. Moskowitz maintained his dental office in Clifton, NJ, before his retirement and was a Navy veteran of WW II. Dr. Moskowitz was an associate professor of dentistry at New York University School of Dentistry and during the 1960's he dedicated his spare time to give free dental care to people who could not afford dental care. Dr. Moskowitz was a member of the Passaic County Dental Society and was a former member of Congregation B'Nai Israel in Fair Lawn. Services will be 10:30 AM today at Louis Suburban Chapel, 13-01 Broadway (Route 4 West), Fair Lawn, NJ. Burial will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. Memorial donations in memory of Dr. David M. Moskowitz may be made to the American Cancer Society.
