In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
I pray to the Almighty to give you Cynthia and family enough strength to bear the sorrow due to Desmond's departure from us.
I know that I will always remember his sense of humor.

To Cynthia & Family,
Desmond was an institution here at Hackensack Hospital.
You and Desmond were two of my first friends at the Medical Center (when I was young!)
You were also the first to commission me to do my first and most wonderful mural, unveiled at that very wonderful Christmas at your apartment!
No matter how low I felt, whenever I'd see him, he'd always say something wise or witty, and it always lifted my spirits!
God Bless you, and family. I'm sure he's keeping others equally entertained in heaven!
Love, Ed

Desmond was one of the nicest person anyone could have known. Whenever I see him and his wife at our nail place in Maywood he would always ask me how my mom was doing. Never had a bad word to said about anyone. I remember when he retired the good time everyone had at his retirement party. Everyone had something good to said about him. My condolences to you Cynthia and the rest of the family, just know that God has an Angel of love now with him that will forever be in your heart forever. May the love of family and friends carry you through your grief. R.I.P. Mr. Desmond Clarke.

Desmond was a kind, humble, generous, spiritual man loved and respected by many. He will be missed, but remembered for his many good deeds. I for one, consider myself lucky to have known him. Until we meet again my dear friend. For now, I will try to help your loving wife Cynthia cope with your loss.

Desmond , was more than just a man I worked for, he was a mentor, a protector, and a friend a man I could go to for anything ,especially advice, but most of all he was a father figure to me .what I remember most is, if days went by and we have not spoken, he would call me and say " I called you just to hear your voice and make sure you are ok" that meant the world to me that he loved me and cared enough to call just to hear me say I was ok. My heart is forever broken and will have an empty space in it forever , but there is a spot their in my heart and mind where I will keep his memories alive. I love you Desmond forever.
