Lakewood - Dianne Rothweiler, age 87, of Lakewood, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Dianne was born in Passaic, raised in Fairlawn and spent most of her life in New Milford before settling in Lakewood for the past 15 years. She worked as the Borough Clerk for many years for the Township of New Milford. Mrs. Rothweiler loved to spend time with her family especially at their beach house in Ocean Beach, Unit 3. Dianne was a communicant of Ascension Church of New Milford and of Visitation Church of Brick, NJ. She was very active in the Original Leisure Village Community. Mrs. Rothweiler was a talented artist, loved socializing, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Dianne was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed by all.

Mrs. Rothweiler is predeceased by her husband Howard Rothweiler Sr, parents, Adele and Ernie Cardone and sister Helene Cardone.

Dianne is survived by her children Renee Rothweiler and Howard Rothweiler Jr. and his wife Dolores, grandchildren Howard and Melissa, great granddaughter Emma, and her sisters Judy Cardone and Michele Robson and her husband David.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 9:30-11:30AM at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:30AM at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Toms River, NJ.

Donations can be made in Dianne's memory to the American Heart Association.
