Doris Partridge Obituary
PARTRIDGE
Doris Kayser, born March 3, 1930, of Oradell, NJ and Newtown Square, PA, died Thursday, March 27, 2014. She is survived by her daughter Ann Partridge Sparkes, son James; grandson Bryan, grand-daughters Katie Sparkes, Carrie Sparkes, Emily, Allison, Claire and Delaney; and preceded in death by her son John. Doris, a graduate of Drexel University, was a devoted mother and grandmother. She cultivated and nurtured an environment of love and laughter, balancing learning, sports and activity, and an appreciation for the arts. Doris was an avid reader and crossword puzzle solver and she was an accomplished knitter and seamstress. Doris also enjoyed tending to her garden and yard, and the wildlife that visited her yard. But first and foremost in Doris's mind was always her family. A funeral service will take place at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in New Milford, NJ at 12 noon on Saturday April 5. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to The Oradell Free Public Library, 375 Kinderkamack Ave. Oradell, NJ 07649,
