MALANIAK
Edward W., 73, of Lyndhurst, NJ on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Beloved husband of Josephine A. (nee Massa). Loving father of Charles and his wife Carmela Malaniak, Daniel and his wife Sarah Malaniak, Rachel Malaniak, Stefanie and her husband Joe Gugliuzza. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Matthew, Kyle, Wade, Chase, and Giavanna. Dear brother of Dorothy and the late Joseph Sostock, Marie and Stefan Rokoszak, Marcella and the late Samuel Dzmelyk, Michael and Christine Malaniak, Stella and the late Eugene Malaniak. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Malaniak served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1963 to 1969. Edward was a member of the Polish American Citizens Club in Lyndhurst and the American Legion in Rutherford. He was a letter carrier for the USPS for 12 years before retiring in 1999. Funeral Monday at 10 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 11 AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Cremation Private. Friends will be received Sunday 1-4 and 6-9 PM. Donations may be made to St. Michael's Church, 624 Page Avenue, Lyndhurst NJ 07071, Tomorrow's Children Fund, 30 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack NJ 07601, or the Disabled American Veterans, Attn: Gift Processing, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati OH 45250.
