Eileen Dapuzzo Obituary
Dapuzzo, Eileen M. (nee Duffy), 86, died on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Mrs. Dapuzzo was born and raised in Jersey City and upon marrying her husband, Anthony J. Dapuzzo, moved to North Bergen where they lived for 50 years. She was a resident of Alpine for 10 years before moving to Tenafly where she lived for the past 3 years. Eileen worked as a bookkeeper for Chemical Bank in NY where she met her husband and thereafter, stayed home to raise her family. She returned to work again as a bookkeeper for Sears, Roebuck and Co. in Union City before retiring. Eileen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony J. Dapuzzo in 2018 and survived by their loving children, Patrick Dapuzzo and his wife, Lisa, Maryann Ludwig and her husband, Bill, Noreen Li and her husband, Tom, Theresa Gallagher and her husband, Bob, and Rosemary Casagrande and her late husband, Frank, by her cherished grandchildren, Billy Ludwig, Anthony Li, Matthew Ludwig, Megan Gallagher, Anthony Dapuzzo, Patrick Dapuzzo, Christina Li, Peter Gallagher, Nicholas Dapuzzo, Katharine Li, and Francesca Casagrande, and by her great grandson, Atticus Ludwig.
Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Eileen's memory to your local food bank. Dear Patrick,Lisa, and Family
How sad I am about the passing of your beautiful mom Eileen.
She touched so many lives in such a special way. She was one of the most positive and loving ladies I have ever met.
I feel so blessed to have known her and your dad.
She has a very special place in my heart! How I longed to visit her again and bring her Jesus but now she is with Him!

My sincere condolences to the entire Dapuzzo family. I still remember Noreen's mom from North Bergen; I was the little brat who lived around the corner Just recently, I found old photos of us kids playing in my backyard on Liberty Ave. May your loving mom rest in eternal peace.

I will always remember Mrs. Dapuzzo. The sweetest lady on the block
always let us sit and hang out on her porch. Great family. We all grew up together on 45th Street, North Bergen, NJ. God bless you all at this difficult time. In my thoughts and prayers. Love to all the family. Sincerely, Toni Ann Santora
