Eleanor Roes Obituary
Eleanor (nee Bredt), died on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the age of 90. She was a resident of Mahwah for 47 years. The wife of the late Henry Roes, she is survived by her four children: Geraldine (Richard) Venino of Sea Girt, NJ, Robert (Kelly) Royce of Mahwah, Carolyn (Robert) Hopper of Hilton Head, SC and Pamela Roes of Princeton, NJ, as well as eight grandchildren and four great granddaughters. Eleanor retired in 1993 from Ramapo College where she worked for more than 20 years. She regularly attended activities with the Mahwah Senior Citizens and was a member of the Mahwah Women's Club for over 40 years. Eleanor was active in the Republican Club of Mahwah and served as a County Committewoman for 30 years. A memorial service will be held on December 27, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Ramapo Reformed Church, 100 Island Road, Mahwah, NJ.
