Elisa B., age 79 years in Fairfield, NJ on Tuesday Octeber 4, 2011.
Beloved wife of James Rizio. Devoted mother of James Rizio Jr. and his wife Danuta, Steven Rizio and his Wife Carol, Darlene Sgarlato and her husband Daniel. Dear sister of Emma Campana and her husband Frank, Gilda Jager and her husband Peter, Angie Lombardo and her husband Vincent. Loving grandmother of Andrew and Adrienne Sgarlato, Julia and Steven Rizio Jr., and Maria Rizio.
Elisa was born in Casalbordino, Abruzzo, Italy. She lived most of her life in Paterson, NJ and the last 26 years in Fairfield, NJ. She was a transcriber for the NJ State Police for 20 years, retiring in 1998.
The funeral is Friday at 9 AM from Aquino Colonial Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Ave, Haledon, NJ (973-956-1700) and 10 AM at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Fairfield. Entombment is at Gate of Heaven Cem. East Hanover, NJ. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4 -8 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations to Kidney and Transplant Foundation, St. Barnabas Hosp. Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039.
