Elodia A. "Nancy" (Capra), 88, formerly of Closter, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012 in New Albany, Indiana. She was a long-time teacher and principal at St. Mary's School in Closter, and an active member of St. Mary's Church. Nancy was born on July 11, 1923 in New York, N.Y. to the late John and Josephine (Rogati) Capra. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leopold Lione; son, Salvatore; and siblings, Guido Capra and Ida Izzo. She is survived by her sons, Anthony (Karen), Paul (Ellen) and Joseph (Jeanne); brother, Arthur Capra (Dolores) and sister, Antoinette; daughter-in-law, Anna Lione; thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends.Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM, on Thursday, April 26 at Moritz Funeral Home, 348 Closter Dock Road, Closter, NJ (201-768-4200) Her Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM on Friday, April 27, at St. Mary's Church, Legion Place, Closter, NJ, with burial to take place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Tenafly, N.J. Donations in lieu of flowers in Nancy's memory may be made to St. Elizabeth/Catholic Charities (601 East Market Street, New Albany, IN 47150) or St. Vincent De Paul (129 West Daisy Lane, New Albany,IN 47150).
