He was a Marine Reserve Veteran, a member of the NAM Knights of America MC (American Military Veteran and Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club), a member of the Haledon Planning Board for 30 years, a member of the NJ Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, a member of Passaic County Board of Realtors, Passaic County Board of Realtor Associate of the year 2003, NJAR Distinguished Sales Lifetime Award, Board of Directors - Passaic County Board 6 years, Public Relations Committee Passaic County Board, and a member of the Masonic Temple in Wayne. He was a Real Estate Agent for Caldwell Banker in Wayne, he worked for Tanis Hardware in Haledon and also was the former owner of The Family Shoe Store in Haledon. Beloved husband of Frances "ChiChi" (Andolina) Carabello of Haledon. Loving father of Anthony Carabello of Haledon and Toni Ann Carabello of New York City. Son of the late Joseph and Millie (Tarsitano) Carabello. Grandfather of Gracie Carabello Ciulla. Dear brother of Vincent Carabello of Oakland and the late Joseph Carabello. Brother-in-law of Joan Carabello of Paterson and the late Agnes Carabello. Uncle of Diana Carabello, Ronnie Carabello, Tina Marie Spadafino and the late Vi ncent Carabello.
